SUPPORT US
There are many different ways that both institutions and individuals can support the work of the Foundation for Science and Technology. Some of the main ones are listed below, but please contact Gavin Costigan (gavin.costigan@foundation.org.uk) for further details.
Non-financial support
There are many non-financial ways to support our work. These could include:
- Writing up reports of our meetings
- Seconding staff to work with us on specific projects
- Speaking to the Foundation Future Leaders or hosting one of their meetings
- Writing blogs for our blogsite
- Volunteering to record podcast interviews with us
- Introducing us to new contacts
We would welcome any such support to help us as we bring together government, Parliament, industry and the wider research community – do please get in touch.
Financial Support
The Foundation needs to raise its full costs each year to carry out its activities, and would welcome financial support from those in a position to help us. That support can come from both institutions and individuals.
Institutions
Institutions can support our costs in the following ways:
Membership - Institutions can become members of the Foundation for Science and Technology. Details of the different type of membership and how to apply are available here.
Sponsorship – Institutions may wish to sponsor individual events or areas of work of the Foundation. We are very flexible about sponsorship, but some general guidance can be found here.
Grants – The Foundation regularly receives grants from different organisations, and is always interested in other grants that it might be able to apply for to support it’s work. Do contact us about possible grants.
Charitable support – As a registered charity, the Foundation is able to accept charitable donations from institutions. Please get in touch about how to make a charitable donation.
Individuals
Donations – Individuals are free to make donations to the Foundation at any time. For UK taxpayers, the Foundation is also able to reclaim Gift Aid from any donations that are received. You may donate:

To help us indentify the donation, please email gavin.costigan@foundation.org.uk to let us know it's been sent.
By cheque: Please make the cheque payable to the Foundation for Science and Technology and send to us at: 22 Greencoat Place, London, SW1P 1DX.
By Credit/Debit Card: You can donate via Credit or Debit Card - please email gavin.costigan@foundation.org.uk to inform us how much you wish to pay, and we will send you an invoice with an option to pay via card.
