LEARNED AND PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES

The Foundation for Science and Technology provides a service to learned and professional societies in the area of administration and governance. The Foundation's Learned Societies' Liaison Officer (Lori Frecker) prepares Guidance Notes on a range of administrative and governance issues, and provides a quarterly newsletter. She is also on a limited basis able to provide guidance to individual member societies. In addition, an annual networking meeting is arranged by the Foundation. Learned and Professional Societies can become subscribing members to the Foundation to access this support.
